Butchers stressed on screening while selling meat in bazaar. At Mohmand Agency

GHALANAI, July 25: All the butchers were asked to arrange curtains/screens during selling their meat in various localities and bazaars on the special directives of Agency Surgeon Dr.Zakir Ullah Agency health Supervisor Sultan Khan carried out visits here Tuesday on headquarters Ghalanai, Main Mandi and Lower Mohmand Ekkaghund Bazaars where he directed all the shopkeepers particularly the butchers ones to regularly utilized screening during selling their food items and meat.

Sultan khan completely examines the butcher’s shops and checks the quality of meat selling on the spot.

They were threatened in failure they would be heavy fined and may be sent to lockup.

The health supervisor also checked various general stores and examines expiry dates of all kinds of beverages and they were stressed to sell the fresh and standard quality of drinks in the various bazaars of the tribal region.

In Main Mandi Bazaar cleanliness of various bakeries were checked and shows grave concern on their bad cleanliness and they were stressed to follow the health department rules in the area.

Hotels owners were also directed to prepare fresh food in their hotels on daily basis and asked to make special arrangements for cleanliness there.

At the end of the visit health Supervisor Sultan Khan urged the tribesmen that utilized and drink only boiled water for drinking during summer days because it’s very safe for every man health.

He also demanded of the general public to protect children by immunizing them against childhood chronic diseases and regular cooperate the EPI teams in their respective areas.
