Today Pakistan Red Crescent Mohmand district with support of Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) distributed 400 packs of meat among the deserving communities in Mohmand agency.
In this connection a function was held in the Lower Mohmand Sub-Division Ekka Ghund rest house on the other day where officials district administration and Pakistan Red Crescent Society officers were also present on the occasion.
Sobedar Major Levy forces Ekka Ghund Major Dilfaraz Khan, District Program Officer PRCS Mohmand Irfan Ullah distributed meat packs amongst the disables, poor and deserving ones of the area. 
On the occasion the officials of the district administration lauded the roles and Social welfare activities of Pakistan Red Crescent in the region.
They thanked the PRCS and Turkish Red Crescent on their cooperation with Pakistani brothers on the eve of Eidul-Azha.

It will be mentioned here that meat were distributed in the Lower Sub-Division tehsils Ekkaghund, Ambar, Prang Ghar, Pandiali and Halimzai of the district Mohmand.

GHALANAI: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society FATA Mohmand Agency branch with its own support and with collaboration of the local political administration distributed Ramadan food packages to more than 100 poor and deserving families.
On the occasion PRC FATA Secretary Saeed Kamal, Assistant Political Agent Lower Mohmand Touseef Khalid, Tehsildar Ekkaghund Khista Rehman, Project Officer Community Based Risk Education &Victim Assistance (CBRE/VA) Obeed Ullah, Agency Secretary PRC Mohmand agency were also present.
The food package included Sugar 5 kg, ghee 1kg, rice 2kg, pulses 1 kg, dates 500 gram and one Roukh Afza.
PRCS, FATA Secretary Saeed Kamal Assistant Political Agent Lower Mohmand Touseef Khalid and Tehsildar Ekkaghund Khista Rehman Distributed the food parcels at Pakistan Red Crescent Mohmand agency office.
Meanwhile 25 packages were also distributed among the Lvey/Khssadras check posts situated in Lower Mohmand Sub-Division.
Agency Program Officer PRC Irfan Ullah Mohmand told that they have prepared these packages with their own resources and they collected donations form own staffs and particularly the Political administration also cooperated us.
Assistant Political Agent Lower Mohmand Touseef Khalid hailed the PRC Mohmand agency activities and its response throughout tribal areas and assured their full cooperation.

He said that no doubt there are poor peoples who do not have opportunities of earning and income.

پولیٹیکل انتظامیہ کھیلوں کی فروغ کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدامات کریں گے۔ تحیصل پڑانگ غار میں کھیلوں کے بارے میں کافی ٹیلنٹ موجود ہیں۔ان خیالات اظہار اسسٹنٹ پولیٹیکل ایجنٹ لو ئیر مہمند توصیف خالد خان نے گزشتہ روز تحصیل پڑانگ غار میں پہلے صوبیدار میجر خالد خان کرکٹ ٹورنامنٹ کے فائینل کے موقع پر بطور مہمان خصوصی خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔
اس موقع پر تحصیلدار پڑانگ غار جمشید خان ، ایجنسی سپورٹس مینجر سعید اختر خان ، ایجنسی سیکرٹری ہلال احمر مہمند ایجنسی فوزی خان کے علاوہ کثیر تعداد میں علاقے عوام اور کھیلاڑیوں نے شرکت کی۔ 
واضح رہے کہ پہلا صوبیدار میجر خالد خان کرکٹ ٹورنامنٹ 22 اپریل کو شروع ہوا تھا اور اسمیں ضلع چارسدہ اور پڑانگ غار کے 14مختلف ٹیموں نے حصہ لیا تھا۔ ٹورنامنٹ کا فائنل میچ اختر الیون اور انور الیون کے درمیان کھیلا گیا۔ پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوے اختر الیون نے مقررہ دس اوورز میں انور الیون کو 145 رنز کا ہدف دیا جواب میں انور الیون دس اوورز میں صرف 128رنز بنا سکیأ
اس طرح اختر الیون نے فائینل میچ 17رنز سے جیت لیا۔
اس موقع پر اسسٹنٹ پولیٹیکل ایجنٹ لو ئیر مہمند توصیف خالد خان نے کہا کہ مہمند ایجنسی میں کھیلوں کے بارے میں کافی ٹیلنٹ موجود ہیں اور اس سلسلے میں پولیٹکل انتظامیہ کھیلوں کی فروغ کے لیے ٹھوس اقدامات اٹھارہی ہیں۔
انہو ں نے کہا کہ نوجوانوں کو مثبت سرگرمیوں کو کی طرف راغب کر نے کے لیے تحصیل پڑانگ غار میں سپورٹس سٹڈیم کا تعمیراتی کامآخری مراحل میں ہیں جسمیں علاقے کے نوجوانوں کو تما م تر سہولیات دستیاب میسر ہونگے۔
اخر میں مہمان خصوصی اسسٹنٹ پولیٹیکل ایجنٹ لو ئیر مہمند توصیف خالد خان ، تحصیلدار جمشید خان، ایجنسی سپورٹس مینجر سعید اختر خان،

Pakistan Red Crescent FATA Mohmand agency branch has organized a three-day training workshop titled “Volunteering in Emergencies” that focused on capacity building and to promote the spirit of volunteerism among the youth.

The closing ceremony was held at PRC Mohmand agency office here at Lower Mohmand Sub-Division Ekkaghund on Thursday.
On the occasion Assistant Political Agent Lower Mohmand Touseef Khalid was the Chief Guest while Media and Communication Officer PRC FATA Muhammad Farid Khan Shinwari, Agency Secretary PRC Mohmand Fauzee Khan Mohmand and Agency Program Officer PRC Mohmand Irfan Ullah were also present.
The three day event comprised different sessions including Youth as an agent of Behavioral change (YABC), First Aid, Community Based Risk Education & Victims Assistance (CBRE/VA), Restoring Family Links(RFL), Communication, climate change adaptation and disaster management in emergencies.
The First Aid trainer Muhammad Traiq demonstrated different first aid techniques to the audience on day one.
The participants were introduced about the concept of YABC, focusing on its behavioral skills including empathy, social inclusion, critical thinking and having an unbiased approach. Moreover, a session on Media and Communication in Emergencies focused on the essential techniques for effective communication with media and beneficiaries during emergencies. This was followed by a session on Community based education and victims’ assistance and Climate Change were discussed.
The final day of the workshop introduced the volunteers to the Restoring Family Links program of PRC which focuses on uniting families during disasters/ emergencies.
It was followed by training session on disaster management.

About 20 volunteers from various tehsils of the agency participated in the training.
Addressing the closing ceremony, PRC FATA Mohmand Agency Secretary Fauzee Khan Mohmand briefed the audience about the importance of volunteerism.
Addressing on the occasion APA Touseef Khalid appraised the PRC Mohmand activities in the tribal region.
He said that PRC Mohmand agency branch played their due roles in the time of disaster in the area.
APA assured that the local administration will support the PRC Mohmand branch whatever they need.
He urged the volunteers to take keen interest in disaster management (DM) and others basic trainings for the welfare of the area.
At the end APA Lower Mohmand Touseef Khalid, Media and Communication Officer Muhammad Farid Khan Shinwari and Secretary Fauzee Khan distributed training certificates among the trainees.

Pakistan Red Crescent FATA Mohmand Agency branch conducted two days Training for Community Focal Persons (CFPs) under (CBRE/VA) Community Based Risk Education & Victims Assistance program at PRC Mohmand office Ekkaghund here on Friday.
Volunteers from different tehsils of the agency participated with great zeal and spirit, which will further delivered sessions of Risk Education Program at their respective communities.

Mr. Ubaidullah CBRE/VA Project Officer from PRC FATA, Agency CBRE/VA Officer Afzal Khan, Agency Program Officer PRC Mohmand Irfan Ullah, CBRE/VA Educators Amjad Ali and Behlol Khan also participated and delivered his presentation in the training.

Mr.Irfan Ullah Agency Program Officer PRC Mohmand welcomed and briefs the participants regarding the overall PRC Mohmand agency activities in the area.
He urged the volunteers to learn more things in the said trainings and convey ours messages to the backward areas of the agency.
“PRC Mohmand office doors always open for every one therefore volunteers must come so that they can learn skills for community welfare” said Irfan.

He said that PRC is a voluntary organization and auxiliary to the government which has responded in natural and manmade disasters in the tribal areas.
PRC responded in IDPs bajaur, 2010 flood in Mohmand, Bajaur, NFIs (non-food items) food in North Waziristan/Khyber agencies in 2014-16 he added.
 
Giving detailed presentation on Community Based Risk Education & Victims Assistance Mr. Ubaidullah CBRE/VA Project Officer from PRC FATA told that FATA and KP are weapon contaminated areas and due to conflict therefore explosives remnants of war found in these areas which is a big risk for population.
He said in this connection PRC conducted 17209 mine risk awareness sessions   aware 2,3932 unaware community of tribal areas while referred 152 disabled for physical rehabilitation.    
He said that CBRE/VA main objectives are that to minimize the injuries of tribesmen occurring due to land mines and unexploded ordnances in the area.
He said that everybody knows the damages and destruction due to the conflict in the area like houses, infrastructure, properties, life everything were lost and tribesmen are the most vulnerable and deserving.
Ubaidullah said that Community Focal Persons Trainings is an important training after these trainings now these CFPs will to the community to deliver Mine risk awareness sessions.
At the end of training certificates and special bags were distributed among the participants.

Writers and poets are the eyes and minds of the nation therefore they must play their due roles for the development and prosperous of the tribal region this was told by Professor Abaseen Yousafzai while addressing on the occasion of “Book Launching Ceremony of a local poet Ghulam Hussain Mohib here at Mohmand Press club Ghalanai on Thursday.
Stage responsibility was performed by Mohib Ali Mohib, while APA Biazai Sher Alam Khan, Political Tehsildar Biazai Salman Kundi, Former Assistant Agency Education Officer Dast Ali Khan Hairan Momand of Momand Adabi Tolana (MAT), Ghulam Hassian Mohib of Mohmand Adabi Ghuncha (MAG), others locals’ writers were also in attendance.
He said that writers are the keepers of culture and they are burning in every area.
Abaseen urged youths to learn their own Pashto language side by side others languages like English, China etc.
He said that those nations are developed in the world that has developed its local language.
“Pashtun has rich culture instead of western and others world and Hujra is the best example of this cultural” said Abaseen.
He urged the local writers to work hard for bright future of Pashtun in the tribal region.

Addressing on the occasion APA Biazai Sher Alam said that writers has a main roles in the development and awareness of society Poets can play positive roles towards restoring peace prosperity in the region and it can also promote culture and develop a society in the area .

GHALANAI, April 4: Pakistan Red Crescent Mohmand with support of PRC FATA Peshawar celebrated International Day of Mine Awareness & Assistance in Mine Action here on Wednesday at here Lower Mohmand Sub-Division Ekkaghund, people from different walks of life along with tribal elders, mine victim’s officials from different line departments will participate in the event.
Assistant Political Agent Ekkaghund Touseef Khalid, Tehsildar Khista Rehman, Tehsildar Riazul Haq, CBRE Educator PRC Mohmand Behlol Khan, Agency Officer Community Based Risk Education Afzal Khan, Agency Social Welfare Officer Ibrar Khan, Amputees with their elders from tehsil Ambar, Pindiali and Ekkaghund and Prang Ghar will also participate.
To commemorate this important day, the special theme for the day is 'To promote development and Safety'.
Behlol Khan Educator CBRE Program PRC Mohmand Branch said that PRC Mohmand Agency working on disaster preparedness, First Aid trainings, Emergency response taken on various times on the occasion of IED blasts in the area.
He said that First Aids Trainings were given to more than 350 Levies/Khassadars personnel as well to the local community in 2012-13 and 14.
21 bags (comprising of various Gifts) were distributed among the conflict victims’ amputees in Biazai, Safi and Amabr tehsil with coordination of local administration and elders of the area on world disable day.
He said that MRE main objectives are that to minimize the injuries of tribesmen occurring due to land mines and unexploded ordnances in the area.
 Khan said that Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is a statutory body constituted and governed by an “Act of Parliament”. It was founded in Pakistan on December 20,1947 by an order called” The Pakistan Red Cross Order” issued by Quaid-e- Azam, as Governor General of Pakistan and Founding President of the society.
“PRCS is a voluntary humanitarian organization, dedicated to improving lives of vulnerable peoples “said Anwar.
Behlol Khan told that Mohmand Agency PRCS Branch was established on Aug, 01, 2011.
Afzal Khan Agency Officer CBRE/VA said that the day observation to limelight the importance of Risk Awareness of the masses in reducing the number of person with disabilities/amputation caused by explosive ordnance. He said that it is the Mine Risk Education to enhance awareness about the Mine and unexploded ordinance.  
Addressing on the occasion as Chief Guest APA Touseef Khalid told PRC performing as great jobs in the shape of Community Based Risk Education in the conflict hit areas of Lower Mohmand which is appreciable.
He assured full cooperation from the local administration side and urged the tribal elders to strengthen the hands of PRCS staffs to aware all the tribesmen regarding mine awareness in the area.
APA said that tribal elders including he is the active volunteer and they have showed their active response in the time of any disaster in the area.
At the end of the function a walk was also held to aware the tribesmen regarding mines and special gifts were given to the amputees of the various areas of the agency.

GHALANAI, April 2: Lower Mohmand Assistant Political Agent Touseef Khalid has urged Mohmand tribesmen and local’s residents from all walks of life to create awareness about dengue threat in the tribal region.
While talking on the occasion of a dengue awareness walk at Ekkaghund Bazaar here on Monday, he said the local administration, health department, Pakistan Red Crescent, civil society, journalist and education department should join hands against dengue. He stressed that joint efforts could help stop dengue threat in the tribal region.
 FSMO Dr. Shabir Khan, Tehsildar Ekkaghund Khista Rehman, Tehsildar Ambr Riazul Haq, PRC Mohmand Staff Volunteers and ta large numbers of tribal elders participated in the walk.
The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with messages for dengue prevention.
Walked from Civil colony to Babi Mohmand to sensitize the masses to adopt precautionary measures for dengue prevention.
The participants of the walk were carrying banners and charts inscribes with anti- dengue awareness slogans and PRC Volunteers also distributed dengue awareness pamphlets among the tribesmen.
Later, Dr. Shabir Khan and teams of social mobilisers briefed residents about the proper disposal of garbage instead of openly disposing it off. Awareness campaign also included public briefing, leafleting, door stepping and on-the-spot complaint redressal.
Awareness walks were also held in the border area of Biazai where Assistant political agent Biazai Sher Alam Khan, health department officials and took part in the walk.
On the occasion APA Sher Alam khan urged the local tribesmen to adopt the preventive measures against dengue stressed by the health department.
He said that cleanliness plays an important role to root out the dengue fever from the area because mosquitoes inhibit where there is no proper cleanliness.
 Also in the day an awareness walk held in the Main Mandi Bazaar upper Mohmand Sub-Division tehsil Haleemzai where Assistant Political Upper Mohmand Tariq Ullah stresses upon the locals’ residents particularly the civil society to play their due roles in the awareness against dengue in the tribal region.
He said that awareness played a key role in fight against dengue because prevention was far better than cure. He said that it was the responsibility of every citizen to play his role for controlling dengue and protecting citizens from this dangerous disease by adopting all precautionary measures.
Dr. Shabir khan gave presentations on various aspects of dengue fever, its various stages and prevention and control.

مہمند ایجنسی: (خان اللہ مہمند سے) مہمندقبائل کی جانب سے PTMکے خلاف غلنئی میں احتجاجی مظاہرہ کیا گیاجس میں درجنوں قبائلی اور سیاسی افراد نے شرکت کی۔جبکہ مظاہرین نے پلے کارڈ اور بینرز اٹھا رکھے تھے جن پر پاک فوج کی حمایت اور پی ٹی ایم تحریک کے خلاف نعرے درج تھے۔ مظاہرین نے شدید نعرے بازی کی اور کہا کہ پاک فوج نے قبائلی علاقوں میں امن و امان قائم کیا ہے اور ہم کسی ایسی تحریک کا حصہ نہیں بنیں گے جو پاکستان کے خلاف ہو۔انہوں نے کہا کہ منظور پشتین پختونوں کی نہیں بلکہ غیر ملکی اشاروں پر افغان موومنٹ چلا رہے ہیں جس کی ہم کبھی حمایت نہیں کر سکتے۔بعد میں قبائلی مشران ملک مراد خان خویزئی، ملک قمر گل، ملک خیر محمد،قمر علی، ظاہرخان اور اجمل نے پریس کانفرنس کیا جس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم منظور پشتین کو پختونوں کا نمائندہ نہیں مانتے اس لیے ہم اس تحریک کے خلاف ہیں کیونکہ یہ تحریک غیر ملکی اشاروں پر پاکستان کے خلاف استعمال ہورہی ہے۔انہوں نے پاک فوج پر اعتماد کا اظہارکرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ہم مہمند قبائل ہر محاذ پر فوج کے شانہ بشانہ رہیں گے اور کسی ایسی تحریک کا حصہ نہیں بنیں گے جو ہمارے ملک اور فوج کے خلاف ہو انہوں نے کہا کہ قبائل نے ہمیشہ ملک کے لیے قربانیان دی ہیں اور دیتے رہیں گے ۔۔۔

 Peace has been restored in the area due to sacrifices rendered by Mohmand tribesmen various institutions are opening day by day and various developmental works continued in the tribal region this was stated by Additional Political Agent Mohmand Agency Hamid-Ur-Rahman while addressing on the occasion of Kuli Kachari at Pandiali tehsil building Lower Mohmand Sub-Division here on Thursday.

The local administration of Lower Sub-Division Ekkaghound holds Kuli Kachari to resolve the general public issues on the spot.
Assistant Political Agents Touseef Khalid, Tariq Ullah, Sher Alam Khan, Tehsildar Pandiali Younis Khan, Tehsildar Safi Khalid Khan, Tehsildar Haleemzai Shakeel Barki, tribal elders, political and social workers and general public participated in large numbers.
Addressing on the occasion, Malik Muhammad Younis Khan, Malik Sued Mehmood Jan,Haji Ismail Sher, Malik Muzamil Khan, Malik Sartaj Khan Dawezai and others told that Pandiali tehsil tribesmen presented sacrifices in war on militancy and now here is complete peace but our area is the most backward tehsil of the tribal region. “We are backward in developmental works like Schools, hospitals, roads and special Khassadars and Monthly allowances from others tribes in the tribal region” said younis khan. Tribal elders presented their basic problems to the local administration that “Chopan to Sarala road” in very bad condition and only 8 feet road it should be expanded.
They demanded that its expansion should be included in the next Annual Development Program(ADP). Tribal elders told that Pandiali has 70000 populations the only BHU lack lady and male doctors and others basic facilities like Laboratory, X-rays and Ambulance services.  They thanked the administration on upgradation of High School to Higher secondary level and demand for recommendation for Degree college in the area.  Tribesmen also said that Pandiali Small Dam is a good project for the area peoples but the in the body some leakages therefore it should be addressed. Malik Syed Mehmood Jan complains the power outages effects the routine life and peoples were facing problems to find drinking water. Tribesmen also complains that some tribesmen utilizing Pandiali small dams water for irrigations purposes without administration permission therefore they should be stooped. Malik Syed Mehmood Jan demand that they have given land for Mohmand Dam therefore suitable land compensations should be provided to them.

مہمند ایجنسی تحصیل حلیمزئی کے علاقوں غازی بیگ، کمالی اور اٹو خیل کے نوجوان کھلاڑیوں نے سپورٹس اینڈ کلچر کے خلاف غلنئی میں ایک احتجاجی مظاہرہ کیا جس میں علاقے کے نوجوانوں نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی۔مظاہرین نے سپورٹس اینڈ کلچر کے منیجرسعیداختر کو شدید تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا اور ایجنسی سپورٹس منیجر کے خلاف شدید نعرے بازی کی اورکہاکہ وہ ایک کرپٹ آدمی ہے اور ایجنسی سپورٹس کے نام پرلاکھوں روپے کرپشن میں ملوث ہے جبکہ عملی طور پر سپورٹس کے لیے کچھ نہیں کیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ چند منظورنظرافر اد کی جیبیں گرم کرکے مقامی ٹیموں کو نظر انداز کرتا رہا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ علاقہ کمالی حلیمزئی، غازی بیگ اوراٹو خیل کی پینتالیس 45کرکٹ ٹیمیں اس وقت باقاعدہ سپورٹس سرگرمیاں کرتی رہی ہیں جبکہ بے شمار وعدوں کے باوجود منیجر سعید اختر نے ان ٹیموں کی رجسٹریشن نہیں کی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے ایک سلانہ ٹورنامنٹ منعقد کرکے پینتالیس ٹیموں کے مقابلے کرائے اور منیجر وعدوں کے باوجود فائنل ٹورنامنٹ کے لیے نہیں آئے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ منیجر غلنئی کی چند ٹیموں کے ہاتھوں یرغمال بنا ہوا ہے اور چند ٹیموں کے مقابلے کراکرپوری ایجنسی میں سپورٹس سرگرمیوں کا دعویٰ کرتا رہا ہے مگر حقیقتاً ایسا نہیں۔انہوں نے کہا پلے کارڈ اٹھا رکھے تھے جن پر ایجنسی سپورٹس اینڈ کلچر کے خلاف نعرے درج تھے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ایک عرصے سے ہم ان افغان مہاجرین کے خلاف ہر فورم پر آواز اٹھارہے ہیں جنہوں نے غیر قانونی طور پر پاکستانی شناختی کارڈ بنوا رکھے ہیں جبکہ ہمارے پاس تمام ثبوت موجود ہیں،انہوں نے کہا کہ ان افراد میں ایک اہم کردارحامدنامی ایک افغان مہاجر ہے جو خودبھی پاکستانی کارڈ کے ساتھ ہر تھانہ تحصیل میں سرخروہو کر جاتا ہے اورکوئی بھی اس کے خلاف کارروائی کرنے کو تیار نہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے پاکستان سے محبت کی سزا دی جارہی ہے کہ مجھے ہر جگہ پولیس کے ذریعے تنگ کیا جا رہا ہے۔انہوں نے حامد پر الزام لگاتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس نے شبقدرپولیس کے ذریعے ہماری گاڑی کی روزانہ تلاشی کے بہانے ہماری بے عزتی کی جاتی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ دنوں ہماری گاڑی کو ادیزئی چیک پوسٹ پر روک کر ہمیں بغیر وجہ بتائے شبقدر تھانہ لے جایا گیا جہاں میرے بیٹے پر تشدد کیا گیااور شام تک ہمیں تھانہ میں رکھا گیاہمیں چھوڑا گیا مگر ہماری گاڑی تھانہ میں ابھی تک رکھی گئی ہے۔انہون نے شبقدرپولیس کے ڈی ایس پی اور ایس ایچ او پر الزام لگایا کہ انہوں نے حامدسے لاکھوں روپے رشوت لیکر ہمیں بلیک میل کرنے اور بے جا تنگ کرنے کا سلسلہ شروع کر رکھا ہے۔
انہوں نے گورنر پختونخوا،کورکمانڈر اور آئی جی ایف سی سے مطالبہ کیاکہ حامدسمیت دیگر افغان مہاجرین کے شناختی کارڈ منسوخ کیے جائیں اور ہمیں ان ملک دشمن عناصر سے تحفظدیا جائے۔۔۔۔
