GHALANAI, Jan 20:Political
Parties has welcomed the extension of Supreme court and High court to FATA and
said that it is the first way to the FATA reforms which will resolve all the
basic issues of tribesmen in FATA these views were told by leaders of political
parties leader on the topic “The Issue is this” at Markazi Mohmand Press Club
here on Saturday.

Nisar Mohmand, JUI (F) Agency Amir Maulana Muhammad Arif Haqanai, Maulana Sami
Ullah, PPP leader Arshad Bakhtiar, PPP General Secretary Fazli Hadi, Mohammad
Arshad Khan, PML (N) Leader Haji Behram Khan, Taj Ali Khan, PML (Q) leader
Malik Azmat Khan, Mohmand Welfare Organization President Mir Afzal Mohmand and
others spoke on the occasion.
ANP Mohmand agency President Nisar Mohmand said that
from the last 70 years FATA Parliamentarians did not pay proper attention to
FATA Reforms but when Fata Seyasi Ittehad formed in tribal areas then for the
first time FATA Parliamentarians raised it on national assembly level.
He said that FATA Seyasi Ittehad also supported the
movement of Parliamentarians and they were demanding that FATA should be merged
into KP.
“Extension of Supreme Court and high court
jurisdiction into FATA is the great deed and it a strong cross on the black
law” told Mohmand.
He said that human rights are suspended in tribal
areas through this extension violations of human rights would be prevented in
the area.
Nisar Mohmand demanded that FATA should be
immediately merged into KP and representation should give into KP Assembly in
the upcoming election.
He said that now the tribesmen will fight its war
against others reforms like abolishment of article-247, merger with KP and
local bodies’ election through Supreme Court.
JUI (F) Agency Amir Maulana Muhammad Arif Haqqani
told that extension of court is a good decision because the tribesmen got the
real basic right but still there are difficulties in the laws.
“Problems of tribesmen would be resolved then when
FCR and article-247 would be abolished completely” said Arif Haqqani.
He concerns over the extension that now it pass only
from National Assembly senate is still therefore its full implementation may
create hurdles in tribal areas.
JUI (F) leader said that our differences are just
about merger but we welcomed any type’s reforms in FATA and we have no
difference with anyone.
He said that JUI (F) as party will support the
constitutional and legal requirements in the country.
JUI (F) leader told that FATA is the most backward
area and tribesmen were badly affected by militancy their properties house,
markets were destroyed and they were displaced therefore Federal govt should
sanction 5% in NFC award and special development package for the damage
infrastructure.
He demanded that Local bodies’ election should be
held in the area so that tribesmen problems should resolved at village level.
JUI (F) leader disclosed that don’t waste time on
the issue of merger of FATA all the political leaders wait because it is very
slow process and first FATA TDPs should repatriate to their areas and they
should be compensated.
He said that
his party demands for an independent indent of FATA and want the constitution
of Pakistan in the area.
He told that law and order situation was disturbed
due to the tussle of international powers in the area while here was a complete
peace in tribal areas.
He added that FATA merger is a serious issue and the
decision’s of tribesmen, fate therefore things should not be done in hurry.
PML (N) leader Haji Behram Khan said that the
present govt formed the FATA reforms committee for reform so that tribesmen
should be included into main streamline but some forces creates hurdles for
committee.
He said that political leader should not politics on
FATA reforms they should focus the real issues confronting to tribesmen.
PPP leader Arshad Bakhtiyar Khan told that PPP govt
starts all the reforms to FATA but the present is not sincere with tribesmen.
PML (Q) local leader Malik Azmat Khan we want
complete abolishment of FCR because separate province is not possible therefore
FATA should be merged into KP.
