Mohmand tribesmen urged to fulfill collective responsibility.

GHALANAI, Aug 29: Newly posted Commandant of Mohmand Rifles Col Mohammad Irfan Ali has urged the tribal elders to fulfill their collective responsibilities of their respective villages and tehsils so that to restore peace in the tribal region he was addressing to Mohmand tribesmen jirga at Ghalanai Jirga hall here on Tuesday.

The program was organized by the local administration in the honor of newly posted Commandant Mohmand Rifles which were also attended by tribal elders and others officials.  

The jirga was attended by Assistant political agent Hameedullah Khattak, APA Naveed Akbar and a larged numbers of tribesmen.

“Peace has been restored in the tribal region due to sacrifices rendered by tribal elders and security forces and tribesmen have a history of traditions that were always stands with Pakistan “said Ali.

Commandant Mohammad Irfan Ali has asked the tribal elders to fulfill territorial responsibility and also keep vigilant eye in their respective areas and said that you peoples formed peace committees and flush out miscreants from the area.

He said that some anti-state elements were disturbing the peaceful environment of the agency which was flash out from the area and now complete peach has been restored in the tribal region.

And this all credit links to the tribal elder’s bravery and tribal traditions and customs & norms in the area he said.

He added that Two or four IEDs blast are the routine matters now a day’s situation are better if tribesmen will cooperate us this ordinary incident would also be finished from the area.

Commandant Ali stressed upon the elders that your roles is very important to retain the sustainable peace and writ of the government in the tribal region.

He said that conditions of schools and hospitals will make better and we want more development here but development impossible without peace in the area.

Some problems like suspensions of mobile networks and ban on motorbike riding will be resolved when complete peace comes in the tribal region Commandant told.

Political Agent Mahmood Aslam Wazir lauded the roles and sacrifices rendered by local tribesmen and youths.

He said that Mohmand tribesmen defeated the militants while they were not displaces form their own areas while others tribal areas peoples like South and North Waziristan were displaced.

PA urged the tribesmen that unite with each other’s and holds coordination’s with others tribal elders and check militant’s movements in the area.

“Mohmand agency is a vast area and the most backward in the whole tribal region therefore Pak-army should initiates such developmental projects as they completed in North and South Waziristan tribal regions” told Aslam.

Mahmood Aslam warns that the enemy is still there because they attack again and again on the main headquarters Ghalanai therefore tribesmen should cooperate with security forces and local administration.

However, he told that now law and order situation are satisfactory and the most dangerous layer of militancy ended two months ago.

 Local administration and security forces have urged the Mohmand tribesmen to keep close checks on the suspect’s movements in their areas particularly in the local bazaars of the tribal region to prevent the unpleasant incident in the area.

Addressing the jirga, the tribal elders from different sub-tribes of Haleemzai, Utman Khel and Biazai Malik Sahib Dad, Malik Shaib Khan and Malik Sultan Koda Khel told that they would fight against the militants and fully support the security forces in the operation against militants who were depriving the children of education and health facilities and destroying the tribal customs and traditions.

They decided that strict action would be taken against those tribesmen who were found sheltering anti-state elements in the area.

Tribesmen unanimously decided to extend full support to the government and the security forces to eliminate militants from the area.
